Lane Biz Center to Host December Meeting RM 213
The Lane Small Business Development Center (SBDC) will host and present at our this month’s member meeting, Thursday, Dec. 9, beginning at 6:30. The Lane SBDC is one of 19 Centers throughout Oregon and 1100 Centers nationwide. It offers a wide range of business-related services, including classes and workshops on starting and growing a business. Additionally, Lane SBDC offers employee training services, a resource library, and advising services.
Come learn about these and other ways the Lane Small Business Development Center can help you in your business pursuits. As usual, the first half hour will be an informal, “social schmooze” networking time.

I took a class here years ago when I decided to go into “professional freelancing.” The class really helped me elevate from simply an educated production person to a professional. In other words, my other schooling taught me a lot of the skills and concepts to work in production, Lane SBDC taught me how to apply those things in the real world. We learned about creating business plans and dozens of other considerations and resources for businesses. It was a great experience. I highly recommend beginning AND established business people check out this meeting!
